On April 20, 2009  the Center for Economic and Political Research held a conference "World Financial Crisis: new challenges for oil countries" at the Grand  Hotel Euorope. The conference was attended by members of Parliament, representatives of the Government, foreign embassies, international organizations, local expert society and mass media. The event has been  financed by Norwey Embassy, Open Society Institute and Azerbaijan National Committee for European Integration.
